STUDENT LIFE
Adventist Youth Associations
Through Adventurers (kindergarten to grade 4) and Pathfinders (grade 5 to grade 8) students will participate in biblical activities. Adventurers and Pathfinders challenge the unique talents of each member. The extra-curricular activities are built on an age-specific curriculum of nine levels along with approximately 350 specialized skill development topics which will serve as a launching point for lifetime careers or hobbies.

Music
Music is an intergral part of study at New Bethel. Adventist schools actively teach students reverent praise, music history, basic theory, and performance skills.
For private lessons we encourage families to seek a local music studio in town as an after school activity.
Visual Arts
Our art program provides students the unique and necessary understanding of civilization; develops creativity and problem-solving skills; and enhances verbal and non-verbal forms of communication. Students will learn the ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate the art work of others, and their own creations while mastering the Model Adventist Content Standards for art instruction.

Conference-wide Activities
As a part of the South Atlantic Conference of Seventh-day Adventists system of schools, New Bethel students participate each spring in the Festival Expo. Students will travel to Atlanta, GA to showcase their work during the year.
The annual Festival Expose permits students to participate in a system-wide music festival; enter art and science displays; and compete in the Conference Bible Bowl, Spelling Bee and Math Derby.
